Located in Central Drakensberg, the Cathkin Peak and Champagne Castle ranges provide the perfect, dramatic backdrop for Cayley Mountain resort. The Bell Park Dam is accessible from the property and is central to a variety of water sports and leisure activities. What makes the Resort a unique destination is the variety of adrenalin pumping adventures on offer.

Cayley Mountain Resort, located in Central Drakensberg has an assortment of investment and accommodation options as well as a wide range of on-site facilities! This modern lifestyle resort offers side by side chalets spread along the ridge with magnificent views over the dam towards the mountains. We know that holidays are a time for breaking the mould of the daily grind, discovering new things and having fun and so we planned our resort facilities with this in mind.

Water Adventures

The well-stocked Bell Park Dam offers hours of fishing pleasure or a day of kayaking on the peaceful dam. Couples can enjoy a romantic sunset cruise on the Cayley Cruiser Barge.

Body Bliss™ Day Spa

Melt all your stress away with a relaxing massage or indulgent facial in the tranquil on-site day spa. There are many treatments on offer.

In 2016 we expanded on the resort with the addition of 6 units at Cayley Mountain Resort. These new units give you better availability when booking your next Cayley Holiday.

You are able to choose from:

1 x Farmhouse (4 Bedroom) – Available on Fractional Ownership
2 x Suites
5 x 3 Bedroom Villas
2 x 3 Bedroom Chalets
2 x 2 Bedroom Chalets

In addition to the new 6 units, a brand new dam wall was built to capture another 9 000 000 litres of water, a borehole was installed and an additional 120 000 litre tank for storing water for the dry Winter months was added to the property.

Another exciting development was the creation of a marina for launching boats from the dam, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2017.
